This text provides detailed information on the terms and conditions for your participation in the 14th Panhellenic – 1st International Speech and Language Therapy Conference of the Panhellenic Association of Logopedists-Logotherapists (PAL) “Building bridges” as well as on the processing and protection of your personal data (privacy policy) for this purpose. Your participation in the conference entails acceptance of the terms and conditions and the privacy policy below.
The conference proceedings take place digitally via the Zoom platform on the link that you will receive at the e-mail address you provide. Please make sure to inform us of any changes to your e-mail address, otherwise we bear no responsibility.

For more than 3 workshops, the cost is 10€ per workshop.
** A registration for the conference is needed for attending the workshops.
All registration fees must be paid in Euros (€).
CONGRESS LANGUAGE
Greek is the official language of the congress. Foreign speakers may deliver their presentations in English. Real-time translation in both English and Greek will be provided during the sessions and the round tables. No real-time translation will be provided during the workshops and the webinars, which will be delivered in either Greek or in English (see program).
Payment Receipt – Invoice
The payment receipt or invoice of your registration is sent to you electronically or by post.
Warning: You must be an active professional in order to issue an invoice.
Participation to the conference includes:

Participation for students to the conference includes:
Attendance of scientific sessions and workshops, conference material, 2 pre-conference Webinars, and certificate of attendance. Students are required to submit a copy of their student ID, along with the submission of the application form, which is sent via e-mail to kcharisi@epidirect.gr.
Interpreting
For the speeches and the round tables that will take place, interpreting from English to Greek and vice versa is available. All webinars will be conducted in the announced language without interpreting.
Certificates of attendance
Certificates of attendance at the conference and at the interactive workshops will be sent to participants in digital form after the end of the conference.
Cancelations
Cancelations shall not be accepted, and entitlement for participation shall not be refunded. By submitting your registration form and paying the registration fee, you agree that you have no right to make claims against the conference organizers if the conference is postponed or canceled for reasons beyond the responsibility of the organizers, such as force majeure and indicative, unforeseen, political, or economic events, natural disasters affecting the conduct of the conference, cancelations of speakers, etc. Participation is strictly personal, and its transfer is not allowed.
Personal Data Processing – DPO
The association under the name “Panhellenic Association of Logopedists-Logotherapists”, El. Venizelou 50 & Sarantaporou, Cholargos, Athens GR-15561, tel. +30 210 777 9901, fax +30 210 777 9922, e-mail: info@logopedists.gr is empowered as responsible for processing your personal data which you fill in the registration form (name, postal and e-mail address, telephone, property, billing details, tracking preferences). In any case the Panhellenic Association of Logopedists-Logotherapists does not maintain or process your debit or credit card details, which are provided exclusively to the bank upon your redirection to its digital environment through the registration form.
Purpose of Personal Data Processing
The purpose of the processing of your personal data is to track your registration form for the organization of this specific scientific event, to send the conference material and the certificate of attendance, to invoice, to issue and send the legal document, to communicate in regard to issues about this specific event and, if you have opted in, to receive updates about other upcoming events organized by the Panhellenic Association of Logopedists-Logotherapists.
The processing of your personal data, as mentioned above, is based on our mutual agreement to register in this particular event or any other request. We only collect the absolutely necessary data to process, and they are exclusively used for the purpose that they are collected for.
Personal Data Recipients
We do not share or provide third parties with your personal data for no purpose unless we are obliged to do so due to a possible inspection or investigation by public authorities, according to the applicable legislation.
Third-party recipients of your personal data do not include our staff and partners that are monitored by us. They receive only the necessary personal data in order to carry out their tasks but are bound by confidentiality and apply all mandatory personal data safety measures.
Personal Data Retention Period
Your personal data are kept for 1 year after the conference and its financial clearance. Your fiscal data are kept for as long as tax legislation requires. After that, your data are deleted through the indicated and secure method, unless their keeping is required by lawful reason. You will be notified in such case. If you have showed interest in being notified for other events of the Panhellenic Association of Logopedists-Logotherapists, your personal data will be deleted as soon as you inform us accordingly either by sending an e-mail to info@logopedists.gr or by pressing the dedicated unsubscribe link at the bottom of the informative e-mails that you receive.

We ensure the application of proper security levels (confidentiality, integrity and availability) of your personal data from any unauthorized access, sharing, alteration, deletion or loss. Consequently, we adopt a number of technical and organizational measures which we always strive to optimize.

e) To ask us to hand over or transmit your data to any other processor in an appropriate format if the processing is done electronically by automated means.
Exercise of Rights
In order to exercise your rights, you can contact the DPO in writing at the above mentioned postal or e-mail address with the indication EXERCISE OF RIGHTS. We will make every effort to respond to your request within thirty (30) days of submission free of charge to you, excluding those manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repeated requests. In case your request is rejected, you will be informed about the reasons within the same deadline. In case more time is required to fulfil your request – and up to sixty (60) more days – you will also be informed within a month from the submission of your request.
